Drunk Driving - Giving False Information
to Police Officer
The courts and police take their job of enforcing the law seriously. Accordingly, one of the more serious crimes is giving false information to a police officer.
Certainly, people are scared when they are stopped by a police officer, and may do something foolish like giving somebody else's name. Judges take a pretty dim view of this. In order to minimize the impact on your life of having done something foolish, you need the services of an attorney.
While the penalties may vary depending on your jurisdiction, in city court you can get up to six months in jail and a$500 fine for each offense. |
